The evening ‘Enhancing your Child’s Development and Strengthening your Relationship with your Child’ which took place at Clonakilty Kindergarten last month was well attended and received a lot of positive feedback. Eithne spoke about how attachment develops and how to foster secure attachment in your child. The knowledge that she imparted gave us much food for thought. My own presentation focused on the development of listening and attention, and how to encourage speech, language and social interaction through conversation, play and books.
